Most STI and HIV testing in NSW is conducted through GPs. It’s a good idea for everyone who is sexually active to get a regular check-up. We recommend you see a GP for this.

There are a number of organisations you can contact such as Positive Life NSW, Bobby Goldsmith Foundation, and ACON. There is also a peer-led workshop for gay and bisexual men who have been diagnosed in the last 2 years called a[STARTx].
Our counselling team is here to support anybody living with HIV. They can help you to adjust to a new diagnosis, or provide ongoing support for how HIV may be affecting your life.
